Becoming a new patient

Welcome to Balanced Integrative Health. We would be honored to partner with you on your health journey.

We will use information you provide us beforehand as a starting point for an in-depth discussion about your health and the resolutions you seek.
We will listen to your story and pose questions, and conduct a targeted physical exam.

Based on our conversation and exam, we will agree on a personalized treatment plan. The plan may include combinations of botanical medicines, nutritional supplements, medications, therapeutic diets, detoxification programs, stress management techniques, as well as lifestyle counseling.

Together we will:

  • Discuss your health goals and what’s important to you

  • Consider your entire story – physical, mental, genetic, lifestyle, and environmental

  • Obtain pertinent lab tests to further our investigation

  • Create a personalized plan based on your needs and goals

Services & Pricing

Initial Office Visit with Dr. Van Oort

  • 90-minute visit: $450
  • Discuss your health concerns and goals
  • Review your health questionnaire and previous medical records
  • Perform a targeted physical exam
  • Formulate your plan of action

Payment: Balanced Integrative Health only accepts cash, debit and credit cards including HSA and flexible spending cards. We do NOT accept health insurance or Medicare. Please make sure to read our payment policy.

Follow-up Visits

Typically, we will have a follow up visit in 4-6 weeks to discuss further treatment plans, action steps, and address any concerns you have. For problems that are straightforward and short-term, resolution may occur within the first few appointments. For issues that are long-standing or complex, additional appointments may be necessary.

  • 60-minute follow-up office visit: $330
  • 30-minute follow-up office visit: $170
  • 30-minute follow-up telephone visit: $170

Cancellation of Appointments

If you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment, please do so within 3 business days of your appointment, via voicemail or email. When a patient cancels within 48 business hours of an appointment or is a “no show,” we miss the opportunity to provide care to other patients during that time slot.
